Biography

James Madsen is the CEO and Founding Partner of the law office.  He engages in general, wholistic representation across a number of legal practice fields.  He has won cases for his clients at every level of the Pennsylvania Courts, including preliminary hearings, trials and Supreme Court argument.

Attorney Madsen has tried cases as District Attorney, Public Defender, and provider of legal services to the indigent before opening his own law practice in 2012.  Since opening his private practice, Attorney Madsen has successfully taken cases to trial in Berks, Lehigh, Monroe, Northampton and Philadelphia Counties.

James was born in Flemington, New Jersey, but spent most of his adult life in Easton, Pennsylvania.  He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from The American University in Washington, D.C.  James attended American University on an academic scholarship and studied the inner workings of local, state and federal government along with international relations.   James received his Juris Doctor from Drexel University School of Law where he attended under a Law Trustees’ Scholarship with an emphasis on public service.

 

In his spare time James enjoys travel, amateur bodybuilding, gardening and continuing education.

  • Successfully had client’s robbery conviction overturned by Pennsylvania Superior Court based upon insufficient evidence and errors made by the trial judge resulting in client’s immediate release from custody and barring of any retrial (2014)
  • Successfully achieved reinstatement of client’s appellate rights due to ineffectiveness of his prior attorney (2015)
